Mary Nixon, Breast Cancer Survivor
This year December 18th will mark 10 years since my mastectomy. I was lucky enough not to need further treatment and have been cancer free ever since. Many of my Hope Chest sisters cannot say the same but we are all together in this journey to be as heathy as we can. We support each other in every way - physically, emotionally and spiritually. If anyone is need of transportation, food, help at home or just someone to talk to we are there for each other. We paddle, yes, in our dragon boats but that is just a part of what we do in Hope Chest. I am participating in this years' Dragon Boat Festival and would love your support. Hope Chest is dedicated to promoting emotional and physical wellness for survivors through our paddling and exercise programs. Thank you all for your continued support.

This year December 18th will mark 10 years since my mastectomy. I was lucky enough not to need further treatment and have been cancer free ever since.
